Fletchr Fletchr Announce Debut EP We All Feel The Same and First UK Headline Tour
Words by Marios Stamos
Emerging alt-rock quartet Fletchr Fletchr are set to hit the road next month for their first-ever UK headline tour, coinciding with the release of their new EP, “We All Feel The Same.”
Quickly becoming one of the UK’s most buzzed-about new live acts, Fletchr Fletchr have built a reputation for high-energy shows and raw, emotional authenticity. Their sound, a fusion of anxiety, love, and grief woven into thunderous guitars, has resonated deeply with a growing grassroots following.
The band are gearing up for their biggest milestone yet, a nine-date UK and Ireland tour, including a stop at The Lodge, Deaf Institute, Manchester, on 18 November.
“Feel The Same” is the rallying cry from this thrilling new British band, urging openness and conversation about our struggles. It’s a reminder that, despite our different backgrounds, we all navigate life’s ups and downs, often facing the same feeling of despair. Sharing those burdens can make them lighter. At its heart, the song champions the power of talking and truly listening to one another.
Vocalist Rohan Fletcher explains: “We wrote ‘Feel The Same’ as a way of getting a lot off our chests.
“In the room while writing, there was a realisation that we had been bottling things up and forgetting to talk to each other. To open up and write down exactly how we were feeling was liberating. The song is about what we learnt in that room; we all had a lot of the same stuff going on.”
“Feel The Same” is the second track to be taken from Fletchr Fletchr’s forthcoming EP “We All Feel The Same,” due for release in late November.
After selling out three last-minute Camden pub shows in recent weeks, the band’s new track arrives hot on the heels of their debut single, the explosive “Jet Black,” and the announcement of their first UK/EU headline tour.
Fletchr Fletchr came together when three school friends, vocalist/guitarist Rohan Fletcher, lead guitarist and “Jet Black” producer Adam Sanders, and drummer Oli Williams (recruited from another school band), decided to keep the music going through university, where they began shaping their sound. Bassist George Green completed the lineup, joining just days before being thrown on stage for his first gig with the band.
The name Fletchr Fletchr serves as a tribute to Rohan’s late father, who was both the band’s greatest supporter and source of inspiration. It also reflects the bond between Rohan and Adam, who became like brothers when Adam moved into Rohan’s family home and began working at their pub. Friends joked that Adam had become part of the Fletchr family, and from that sentiment, Fletchr Fletchr was born.
The band’s songwriting dives straight into raw, universally felt emotions, anxiety, love, and grief. Themes that deeply resonate with their growing young fanbase. Rather than hiding behind metaphors, they lay everything bare, channelling those feelings into their explosive, guitar-driven anthems.
Fletchr Fletchr’s first headline tour kicks off at Green Door Store in Brighton on 1 November, stretching to 26 November at Downstairs at The Dome in London’s Tufnell Park.
