The Brighton-based band took the stage one-by-one, each wearing silver, shimmery items of clothing. As they descended into a song, the members of the band lit up the dark tent with both their looks and their sounds.

The five-piece band themselves are fun, edgy, indie, cool and vibrant- this radiated off the stage as fact. Their songs are similar to this and so powerful, both rhythmically and lyrically, throughout. In retrospect, I couldn’t be more grateful to have discovered this band and really experience what music like theirs possibly changes for subcultures of rock music. 

During the performance, the tent gained more and more attraction, and rightfully so with the band playing some songs off of their most recent 2026 EP ‘Losing’ and other amazing singles such as ‘Legs’ and ‘Ripped’. 

Lead singer Amelie Gibson’s voice was absolutely extraordinary throughout the set and through their music, with both drummer Luke Martin and bassist Freya Eastcott matching this vibe perfectly through their energy and instruments. To evidence these opinions, many people in the crowd who hadn’t seemed to know who they were, were dancing towards the end of the show. 

Seb Cooper plays the keyboard in the band, and I think the inclusion of these synth sounds included in the songs, especially when played live, really transforms the musical experience into something unique, something different or maybe slightly odd- but in the best way possible, the resurface of those distinctive sounds is amazing to hear. ‘The Nest’ stage was bursting at the seams, the crowd was lively, the volume was loud, and the sun was out; I do not think there could have been a better afternoon of live music.

Rounding off their set, the band played a fast-paced song which really portrayed the artistry of the band as a whole and left the performance on a definitive high note.
