musicHotWax Warsaw Show

On Wednesday night, at VooDoo Club, HotWax proved they don’t need a big crowd to make an impact.

Around forty people showed up, but the room never felt empty. The Hastings trio played with confidence and clarity, bringing the same focus you’d expect from a much larger stage. Frontwoman Tallulah Sim-Savage led the set with sharp guitar work and strong, direct vocals, all while rocking a sparkly shirt with chunky heels. On bass, Lola Sam added a punchy, restless energy, while Alfie Sayers kept everything tight and steady on drums.

What stood out most was the crowd’s response. Even in such an intimate space, people were dancing and headbanging like it was a huge sold out show. The small turnout didn’t limit the atmosphere – if anything, it made the performance feel more immediate and connected.

It may have been a small gig in Warsaw, but HotWax carried themselves like a band ready for much bigger rooms.
