Déyyess Drops Deluxe Version of ‘Would You Go Down On A Girl?’ Ahead of UK Tour

Alt-pop riser Déyyess is kicking off 2025 with an expanded take on her breakout EP Would You Go Down On A Girl?, now reissued in a deluxe edition. The new version adds two fresh tracks – “Silverlake Baby” and “Me, Oh My” – to a project that’s fast becoming a WLW favourite.
If you’ve been paying attention since her queer confessional “Claire,” you’ll know Déyyess has built her world around yearning. The deluxe tracks lean even further into that space. Written during a period of intense infatuation, they capture the spiral of falling for a girl and not knowing if she feels it too. It’s all heart-racing tension and overthinking, wrapped up in shimmering alt-pop production.
The EP itself plays like a love letter, capturing the pain, longing and daydreaming of unrequited love, particularly between two women. It traces the arc from innocent crush to full-blown emotional consumption, tapping into the specific ache of sapphic longing. Sonically, you can hear nods to dream-pop greats like Cocteau Twins, The Sundays and The Cranberries, while sitting comfortably alongside modern queer pop powerhouses like Chappell Roan.
After supporting Alessi Rose across the UK and EU, Déyyess is now gearing up for her first ever headline UK and EU run this March. The tour will take in Sheffield, Glasgow, Manchester, Bristol and London, with a headline date at Camden Assembly on March 25 looking like a big full-circle moment.
Raised in Canterbury and inspired to come out by Lady Gaga’s outspoken allyship, Déyyess has always been clear about her mission: to create the kind of visible, affirming queer pop space she wished she had growing up.
At a time when artists like Doechii, Renee Rapp and Girl in Red are leading what some are calling a sapphic renaissance, Déyyess proudly joins their ranks with the release of the deluxe version of her bold EP Would You Go Down On A Girl?.
