On the 24th of November, Alessi Rose brought a euphoric, ultra-feminine energy to the O2 Forum Kentish Town with the first London night of The Voyeur Tour.

Currently on her first major solo tour, The Voyeur Tour, Alessi Rose stopped in London for not one but two incredible shows.

As I arrived at the venue, I immediately noticed groups of girls in stunning dresses and skirts, wearing tiaras and bows in their hair. The atmosphere was already filled with excitement and feminine energy.

The opener, Deyyess, did an excellent job warming up the audience before Alessi stepped on stage.

She opened with one of the fans’ favourite songs, Get Around, and the crowd screamed every single word. When she slowed things down with her acoustic guitar for Dumb Girl later in the set, I spotted some girls in the front rows sobbing.

Alessi Rose fans are incredibly dedicated, bringing roses for fan projects, dancing, jumping, hugging each other, and fully embracing the moment. I could genuinely feel the girl power in the room, as well as the overwhelming excitement of seeing a favourite artist live. It reminded me of the first concerts I ever attended for my own idols. Alessi made a clear effort to make everyone feel appreciated. At one point, she even climbed down to the barricade to sing directly with fans, making the night feel intimate despite the big venue.

The setlist blended her older songs with the new tracks from her latest EP, Voyeur (Deluxe). I had the chance to speak with some fans before the show, and they pointed out that they were most excited to hear hits like First Original Thought, Stella, Get Around, and Dumb Girl. She closed the show with Falling Forever, surrounded by heart-shaped confetti all around her.

It was such an amazing and wholesome concert, one that fans will remember for a long time. And this was only night one of her London shows.
