There are gigs you attend and then there are gigs you feel. Sophie and the Giants delivered the latter – a show that felt intimate, full of energy and genuinely special.

With only three people on stage, they created a huge, warm atmosphere. The two multi-instrumentalists switched between instruments effortlessly, exchanging these growing, excited grins that said they were having the best night of their lives.
Sophie, fiery red hair and vintage mic in hand, radiated so much warmth it pulled the entire room in. The crowd started the night painfully shy, glued to the back wall, but the second she stepped out, everything shifted. Suddenly, people were dancing, jumping, singing the lyrics, couples at the back even twirling each other around. It felt like watching a room wake up.
A surprise star of the set was the gorgeous red chaise lounge. Sophie sat on it, danced across it and even stood on it – the band joining her at times. It turned the stage into something cosy and familiar.
Sophie owned every inch of the stage, moving with a joy that felt completely genuine. She sang to individual fans, smiled nonstop, and eventually jumped into the pit to dance with the crowd. The band felt like a real family up there, interacting with each other and radiating the same bright energy.
By the end, the whole room was united – clapping, shouting, dancing as one. Sophie and the Giants didn’t just perform; they connected. They built a world for an hour, and none of us wanted to leave it.
