Held at the 02 forum in Kentish Town, fans queued for hours in the cold to see Malcolm Todd’s show. Going viral on TikTok in 2023 for songs like ‘roommates’, he hit another viral point in 2025 with ‘chest pain (I love)’, from his self-titled album Malcolm Todd, released in 2025, which charted on the Billboard 200. With 10 million monthly listeners, the crowd was ecstatic to see him in a rare UK appearance. He released ‘Malcolm Todd (still)’ in August, featuring four new tracks, which again hit TikTok’s viral side.
The concert began with a DJ playing from 8:00 to 8:30, getting the crowd excited and dancing, and creating a club-like atmosphere with lights and bass that vibrated throughout.
Malcolm started at 9 pm, starting with ‘Harry Styles’, his first song from his new album. He flicked between playing new and old songs, with hits like ‘Earrings’ and ‘4me4me’ from his first album, Sweet Boy, and the crowd went crazy. He spoke to the fans as if he knew them personally, sharing his daily activities as a Londoner and expressing his gratitude for the crowd’s attendance. He left on a positive note, with chest pain, where everyone in the crowd sang. He then left the stage, but fans were determined to hear one more song. After a few minutes, he came back for the last two songs, the first of which was entitled ‘I’ll come back for you’ ironically. Lastly, he played a crowd favourite of roommates, making the crowd jump up and down and scream for what he called one of the best crowd reactions.
After the show, some lucky fans stuck around and met him, some made TikToks with him, while others posed for photos. He had a variety of merchandise, including Europe-exclusive T-shirts, a poster, tote bags, and a necklace that features a small statue of him with a guitar.
