musicThe Stranglers London show review

On November 1st, the Roundhouse in London was a pit of pure nostalgia when over 3000 people crowded together to see The Stranglers.

Nearly 50 years since their first album ‘Rattus Norvegicus’ and since they first went on tour, The Stranglers are still performing fantastically.

When their biggest hit – Golden Brown, which was number 2 in the UK charts when it was released in 1982 – started to play and the lights became ‘golden’, the crowd became even more entranced: joining in to sing all together, creating the most amazing atmosphere.

The Roundhouse couldn’t have been a more perfect venue for this gig, with wherever you stood providing you with a perfect place to see the band perform.

Ending the show with the rock song ‘No More Heroes’, The Stranglers left the stage, leaving us hopeful it won’t be too long until we can all see them perform live again.
